Interesting billboard

When driving past the Alpen Dorf Motel on highway 62 heading east from town, we noticed a strange message on the billboard out front.

It reads:
Mate Wanted
Female
Inquire Inside
P M K I


In this week's Lovely County Citizen newspaper, they actually have an article about the owner of the motel and his odd billboard. The article is titled "Signs of love are everywhere." It states that Jimmie Hathcock, owner of the Alpen Dorf, put up the sign in the hopes of finding his soul mate. The sign has been up for six months with no luck, but Jimmie hasn't given up and his hopes remain high.

We also found out what the PMKI stand for in the sign. Petite, Motivated, Kind-hearted, and Intelligent. Well, it is definitely an interesting approach - he gets points for creativity. Maybe when he finds his lady, the sign will change to read something like: Soulmate found - Thanks for looking.
