After school

I'm debating the idea of offering after-school child care in my home during the week. I think it would be pretty easy to just have the kids I watch ride the bus home with my daughter, then they play for a couple of hours before their parents pick them up. My daughter always wants to play with friends anyway, but it is such a short amount of time to schedule a "play date", so this would be an easy way to have some friends over to play for awhile with her, while I make some cash too. It sounds like a win-win.

I'm going to look into getting licensed as a care provider - I'll have to see what's required here. Then probably run an ad in the paper or put up flyers at the grocery store, or just put the word out since it seems like everyone here knows everyone!
