Outdoor activities

One aspect of our wonderful town that we haven't fully explored yet are the wonderful outdoor activities. Since we moved during the "dog days" of summer, we missed the cooler springtime weather. This spring, we will take full advantage of all the lakes, rivers, and parks here. Beaver lake is clear and blue. People boat, fish, and even scuba dive in that lake. They have boat tours you can take also.

This weekend is the bald eagle migration, and I've heard if you go to Beaver Lake, you can see hundreds of eagles! I can't even imagine how breathtaking that would be. We will check it out for sure.
