Crescent Condo Compromise

The owners of the Crescent Hotel are still moving forward with plans for condo/hotel units in Glenwood Park. The council maintains that the project must be resubmitted for approval. The owners have offered several compromises to the city, making the project less of an environmental impact.

They will move the condos higher up the hill and closer to the Crescent Hotel, which would eliminate most of the proposed new roads and less trees would have to be removed. They have eliminated one building altogether, and have agreed to less retaining walls and no blasting. There are several other changes to the plan also. Two articles covering the proposal can be read at The Times Echo and The Lovely County Citizen.
