Eureka Gras events

With Mardi Gras just around the corner, Eureka Springs has scheduled some events for the occasion. The Masquerade Ball will be held on Friday, February 16th at 8:00pm at the Basin Park Hotel. Cost is $10 per person. The parade will be next Saturday, February 17 at 2:00pm. There will be the Krewe of Krazo and the Krewe of Barkus featured, along with other miscellaneous parade happenings that have not been mentioned. The Krewe of Krazo is the float with the King and Queen on it, who were announced last month. The Krewe of Barkus is open to all dog owners who want to be in the parade with their pet. The dog must wear a costume, and the owner is encouraged to wear one also. They will give awards to the best dressed pooch.

There will be a Sunday Jazz Brunch on February 18th at 11:00am at the Crystal Dining Room in the Crescent Hotel. On the actual Mardi Gras date of Tuesday, February 20th, they have a "Second Line" Krazo Krawl procession starting at 4:00pm at the Pied Piper Pub, working its way to Chelsea's - stopping at all the bars in between.
