One plus for Wal-Mart

As you may recall, we are boycotting Wal-Mart because of their questionable practices and the effect that huge super stores like Wal-Mart have on small communities and their shops. They force many "mom and pop" stores out of business.

I did find out about one good program Wal-Mart sponsors, though. According to my vet, if you go into any Wal-Mart early in the morning on the 1st of any month, you can get a "spay and neuter" voucher from the customer service desk. The voucher states that Wal-Mart will pay for half the price of the procedure for your pet. They are only allotted a certain amount for each month, so that's why you have to get there early.

We are getting our puppy spayed next month, so I will go to Wal-Mart on the morning of the 1st and get a voucher. I'm not sure if this offer is good in all states, or just Arkansas, since this is Wal-Mart's headquarters. I'm sure you could just call ahead to your local store to make sure.
