I thought yesterday was cold...

... but today is much worse!!! When I dropped my daughter off at her bus stop, the radio said it was 13 degrees, heading for a high of 25 today. Wow, I didn't think it even got that cold here, but with all the "El Nino" trouble the world has had this year, I guess anything is possible. Hence the crazy snow in Denver and the off-season hurricanes in Florida and Louisiana.

There are some signs of spring coming, though. There are a lot of birds returning from migration and the sunset is getting later. I'm looking forward to a nice long spring when we can get out and hike and check out all the great lakes and rivers around here.
