Driving a whole lot less

Since we saw that horrible car accident about a month ago (see previous post from November), we have been driving a lot less than we used to. We have been trying really hard to only buy things locally or online. It's been really nice, actually. It's funny how when you are a teenager and have your first car, you practically live in it and can't imagine life without it. Now, I try to find ways to avoid driving. Living in Eureka Springs certainly makes this easier, since I can walk lots of places and/or take the trolley.

Now if we can only convince our daughter by the time she is sixteen to keep riding the school bus...
