THE auditorium

Here in Eureka Springs, we are very proud of our wonderful auditorium right in the middle of the beautiful, historic downtown district. Many big acts have performed here, even though we are not a big town and are pretty far from any very large towns. The "aud" (as it is known around here) is a restored historic building with a large elaborate stage, theater seating on the main level and balcony, a great sound system, and wonderful atmosphere.

We have only seen a few small productions there, but are looking forward to blues legend BB King, who is scheduled to perform early next year. Here are some pictures of the auditorium as it originally looked back in 1928, and how it looks today.
