disturbing

I heard a very disturbing story on the radio news yesterday morning. In Rogers, Arkansas, a 10 year old girl was raped outside East Side Elementary School at 7:10am one day last week. The rapist was a convicted felon who had been released, but was still on the "sexual predator" list. No one was at the school yet - the staff arrives at 7:15am.

She normally rides a bus to East Side, then waits there for another bus to drive her to another school. If her school came up with this unusual bus arrangement, they should at least guarantee someone will be at East Side while she is there waiting for the other bus. You would think there would at least be some bus staff around the school. If I were her parents, I would be furious with the school system.
