Groundhog Day Celebration canceled

Attention Eureka locals:

Due to the snow, the Groundhog Day Celebration to be held in Basin Park this morning was canceled. They have rescheduled the spring clean-up for March 20th, appropriately, the first day of Spring at 6:00pm. I think there will be many more people in attendance for the new date since it is during Spring Break and it is in the evening. No one has to miss work or school to attend. Plus, the weather should be warmer. It will be right after the St. Patrick's Day parade also, so I'm sure there will be much more "clean-up" to do at the park. More people, more clean-up. It's all good. Hope to see you there in March!
