Tourist season in full swing
Ever since the May Festival of the Arts, our town has been very busy with tourists downtown. It's this time of year when I am grateful that we decided to live on the outskirts of town, rather than on the historic loop. On busy weekends, we can't even tell in our neighborhood. But if we want to go downtown, we can walk or just hop on the trolley and not have to worry about parking our car downtown.
It's amusing to ride the trolley when there are lots of tourists, because they are so surprised and amazed by all the architecture and the layout of Eureka Springs. It's a nice reminder of why we decided to call this quirky, beautiful town our home.
