Interesting marketing campaign

So I just ran across a very clever marketing campaign by the creators of Pay Per Post. They are documenting their startup and success through reality tv. You can view the episodes of "Rockstartup" on the website and see how these guys and Pay Per Post came to be.

They are using the show to promote their web service of getting advertisers to pay bloggers to mention them on their blogs. But the bloggers on PPP can also get paid to blog about their website which tells others how to get paid blogging too! It's like a crazy advertising cycle to generate traffic between their two websites. I think it is very smart indeed.

Pay Per Post is definitely on top of "Guerrilla PR tactics" though. Did you hear what they did on the Today Show a few months back? They brought a bunch of blank white posterboards and passed them out to people with markers so they could write things like "Hi Mom" on them. Then you look a little closer, and you notice the PPP logo is on every one of the posters too! Genius.
